Hey there big joe, your motor,<br />serial #06594537<br />model # 1025525<br />is a 1985 model year.<br />The propshaft is part number 44-8166231, $227.10 from Mercury.<br />Or you can get one from http://www.mercruiserparts.com for $193.78<br /><br />Don't think I would try to straighten it, as it has to be perfect.<br /><br />You are gonna need a repair manual to do this one.

Hi Big Joe<br />It depends on how bad and where the shaft is bent whether or not it can be strightend. I had a mechine shop strighten the prop shaft for my 25hp Mariner, the cost was about half of a new shaft. You will want a repair manual for the details of making this repair. You may find a copy at your public library.
