1988 wellcraft
Boat is in good shape. I want a wax that will last the longest and ease of application is important. The boat is bottom painted and in a slip all season. I need a wax that will protect my baby so I don't have to pull it out to clean it and miss fishing time!
Thanks, Dead Eye

Re: Best/Easiest Boat Wax

DE,the 2 requests you made contradict each other in the world of wax and polishes. The longest lasting wax is a carnuba hard paste wax and is not easy to apply. It requires some muscle and must be done in the cool and shade and does not come off easy either.Good choices are Fleetwax,Culinite,Mc Guires etc.The absolute easiest with still being a decent carnuba wax is Kit for cars.It is a soft paste wax and could not go on easier and comes off just as easy .Is is the easiest and fastest by far.(this is the wax that I put on my hull in the fall and leave it on until the spring). There are many polishes that go on easy and come off easy and last pretty well. One that I highly recommend is Dolfinite Twax sealant.Expensive, but goes on even in the sun and comes off fairly easy and lasts longer than most. Many here like the 3m products as well.I find them too hard to apply for the results you get.Charlie
