It's been a while since I bought a new fishfinder. I'm looking for overall good quality and value for the money. I've always used humminbird in the past, but any of the humminbirds pirhanas i see in walmart/west marine don't have water temp or speed (which is a plus, if not a must).

I've been looking at and liking the raymarine/raytheon products, but just felt like I'd ask around for some thoughts/reviews.

the fishfinder would only be used in salt water out to 200' depth...speed and temp are a must.thanks in advance

Ive had a handful of different median priced
fish finders over the years. And for my money
the best value and features came on my Garmin 160
enough power for salt water fishn over 500 feet.
