Best "free" fish scanning and verifying/regulation app?

I've been watching Florida fishing game on YouTube and how they grab people with undersized fish in their boat or out of season species. Fines can get real expensive, so does anyone know a free fish identification app? I downloaded an app called Fish verify but they want 5.99 a month or the free version is very limited.

Never seen an app for such a thing.

I'd contact Florida fish and Game to see what they have.
Problem your going to run into is that quite a few species of fish look almost identical with only small nuances to tell the difference between them. Real need to be be up on your fIchthyology if your not targeting specific species.

What about take a pic of the fish and let google tell ya what it is. It will at least get you close
