best maintenance manuals

Hi. I'm buying a 1998 Crownline 210 CCR with a 5.0L Mercruiser and Alpha out drive. Do ya'll have any opinions on what the best manuals are to do service and maintenance on the engine and outdrive?<br /><br />Thanks, Don

Don, <br />OEM - Mercruiser manual for both engine and drive.<br />Good luck with your new boat.

As someone who recently hoped that the cheaper Clymer's manual would be "good enough," I have to second Lenny's opinion. I wish I bought the Mercruiser manuals instead, and probably will very shortly....there's a LOT of holes in the Clymers book, even for relatively basic maintenance stuff.<br /><br />Enjoy!
