Re: Best method for push starting a boat.
OK Boys ! I guess it is time to tell the truth ! I'm feeling bad for hiding it so long. Seeing as how you are my special boat buddies I have to come clean. Get it of my chest. My great grand father was a chemist, and his brother was a physicist . Back in the hungry 30's they came up with a fluid that had gas beat all to H--l .They named it POWER . What you do is take the cowl off your engine attach a hose to a funnel and put the hose in the throat of a carb with the ignition on,Pour 1 drop in. The engine will fire right up no need to crank the starter , fact you can throw it away. Keep all tools off of the flywheel or you will lose them. And keep your hand off it too. Just ask tassadaddy what will happen if you touch it. After the engine is running, add 1 more cup of power and you are good for a week . Do NOT put the cupfull in with the ignition off, you will flood it and have to steam clean the engine out . The stuff was selling like hotcakes and they were becoming rich men . But alas , the fuel companies were hurting so bad that they started an UGLY rumor, They said that if you inhale the fumes from power that your shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers would swell up so bad you could not handle a fishing rod or lift a beer. And I am here to tell you that that was an outright lie! Needles to say sales fell right off and when it was all over, gramps was pennyless because he had just enlarged his plant when the bottom fell out of sales. Now I just happen to have about a 1000 cans of Power left. I have only used up 100 1 gal cans in all my engines since I was old enough to drive a car or boat. Take my word for it pals, this stuff is great! And because you are boat pals I am willing to part with some for only 25.00 a can. SEND NO MONEY! just your credit card # will be fine. HURRY! While they last. I am telling you this and giving you a chance to get in on it because any fool knows you can't push start a boat !
