What are you guys using? I'm thinking about getting a canvas changing room and port a john.

Everybody like the idea of a porta john - until it's their turn to empty and clean it.

I guess it depends on how you use your boat and who is on it. I had one my first year and no one used it, so I repurposed that room. I take a large family group out about a dozen times every summer season for swimming and tubing. The only time anyone has needed a potty was when a toddler who had outgrown diapers but could not hold it long enough to get back to a spot on shore. I've never had an adult ask about it. But we do take regular swim breaks when the urge strikes. ... I have one person in my group who has a shy bladder and she would refuse to use the facility because everyone would know what she was doing. .. People.

A couple of weekends ago some friends docked their pontoon at our neighborhood marina. Before they left I noticed they had a pull up tent and port a john which they used. It just seemed a better solution than jumping in the water.

I thought about getting the luggable Loo which is just a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat that you put a bag in the bucket. Once you do you business just tie the bag and toss it in the garbage. Still a crappy job but not as bad as finding somewhere to dump the crap

Yeah I thought about one of those but the white ones that flush look nicer.
