Just picked up a 85 Bayliner Capri for $900 with trailer, hull in good shape and engine pretty good. Cheap deal because upper gear assembly munched a shifter detent ball, Just wonder where is a good place to by a gear set or a reman unit, or a used one. The unit is a old school Swedish chef built 270 with the 2.1 liter driving it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
