Best Wax & Cleaning Products..???

I'm a new boater and I'm looking for recommendations on products to maintain my boat. I'm keeping it in the water in San Francisco Bay. Any thoughts on products that make sense (economical and work)? Here's what I'm looking for:

Best Wax/Polish?
Best Bottom Paint?
Best Isenglass Cleaner?
Best Water repellant for glass windshield? (I don't have wipers)
Best rust remover?

Welcome to iboats!!

Use the iboats Marine Store tab up on top of this page and take a look what is available.

I have had good luck with 3M products and to each his own on preference.

i think i can help on a couple items i use to wax my bass boat 3-4 times a year. with mequiers flagship wax which is a good product i started use a product called" bow to stearn" bts it is a spray i have used it according to label spray once a week for three weeks and then once a month i have never used a product that shines as well as this stuff and does last. good for seats , gelcoat, metal, rubber parts, windshields.trailor.tires, every thing. some guys are useing it on carpet have not done this yet bring it up on there site and read about it it does do what it states kb

Get the wax with the most caruba content you can. It is the longest lasting and has the most shine of anything out there.

Some people also like Rejex and Starbrite with PTFE.

I have to agree with Dingbat, virtually the same products I use after several years of trying EVERYTHING!
Also 303 Makes some great protectants for tops and vinyl

In my experience the best cleaning and restoration products are "Vertglas". They come in individual as well as kit form. They were invented by the owner of the company who is a chemist. Additionally, if a customer has any questions regarding the products, you can actually speak to the man personally by phone (true). The product(s) is pricey but you get what you pay for. Check it out you wont be disappointed.
