Hello, I am going to have my pontoon in the water this Jan and Feb. It has a volvo penta 3.0 engine. I would like to be able to get gas and transport it to the boat and store it somehow. Looking at a 12 gallon tote with wheels. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks, Dan

If your on your own dock then one of the wheeled carts may be best, if allowed

Really depends on what water your boat is on

Having done both the 14 gallon fuel caddy and 5 gallon jugs, the 5 gallon jugs are easier by yourself

Doing it at low tide wouldn't a caddy be easier? Figure gravity lets it out, and not having to carry is a big plus. Did find a 32 Gal caddy with electric pump but could also use a hand pump

I'm on an inland lake and it's totally illegal here

I would just go with a few 5 gallon tanks and a jiggle hose. It may not be as practical, but it is a lot safer. There are just way too many things with individual storage that can go wrong.

@alldodge , have you ever tried to get a fuel dolly in or out of the bed of your truck by yourself?

The 14 gallon is about 110# loaded

Once you get it out of the truck and down to the water, it's great
