best way to repair gimbal hing pin threads?

i have a gimbal helmet that has the threads ripped out and i am in need of repairing it. will the helicoil hold up to the torque spec required to tighten the hing pin down?

Ayuh,...... Maybe, never tried it,.....
To be sure, find a used freshwater used helmet,....

I have repaired them with a Heli Coil. Not cheap but easy to install and cheaper than a new one. NAPA may have one or just get one from the internet.
