Im on my 4th phone in 3 years(glad work supplies em) and currently mine is TAPED together, LOL! :) . I have the holster, but wondered if anyone has a weatherproof and shock proof one that they recommend? When its pouring rain and I am on cell, it gets slippery and I drop it, etc.
Thanks

I hear ya. Ziplock Bag works for me. And a hot glue gun to hold the bits together....

My shirt pocket would work fine.:D

Heck, we use supposedly blast proof Spectralink phones on the internal wireless system at work, and they seem to tear them up in about 6 months. The ABS cases stand up pretty well, but 8 or 10 ten foot drops to concrete, and all manner of welding currents nearby and grinder swail does them in.

It's a heavy metal fab shop. Regular phones would last about a week.

Pelican has a very small case... shock, water dust etc... and get yourself a bluetooth.... thats what i do.... it's small compac and yet you can talk on it.... plus if it falls into water your safe....

I have a leather cover that my Bold slides into and that slides into a belt holster with the keyboard/screen facing inward. This helps keep the screen safe from incidental scratches and the keys from being accidently pressed as it would if they faced outward.

I got it from an A.T.&T. store. It's not necessarily waterproof but it certainly won't slide out of your hand if wet. And since it faces inward towards you it won't get as wet as some of the others if you get caught in the rain.

I have tried several different covers including the gel ones and I like this one the best. It does make the phone appear and feel to be a little bigger than it is. The name on the holster is case-mate.
