Better Distributor for my 3.8 OMC?

I heard i could put a Distributor which don't need to be maintain. No Dwelling Meter No nothing!! beside maintaining the Distributor ITSELF.

Is that true?

Even though pertronics states you can not use their system there is a mod that will allow instalation in the OMC with shift assist. I will see if I can find a link.

The 3.8 is a semi-even fire engine, and choices are very limited for that engine. And you CANNOT use a 4.3 dist in one, despite what the guy behind the parts counter tells you. As far as I know, the stock Prestolite was the only marine dist available for the 3.8
