I was in a hurry to get back to my boat and the Financial Director had a flat tire on her Riding lawnmower. I patched it and that didn't work (* gash longer than patch). I tried some of that slime stuff that is supposed to seal 1/4 inch holes. That didn't work. So I finally put a tube in the damn thing. When I inflated the tube all the remaining slime blew right out of the vale stem hole into my face. Just got back from the emergency room - chemical burns on my right cornea. Thing that really ticks me off is... I freakin know better!!!

Oh my God, I almost bought the junk because it looked like it would work. Sounded so cool on the bottle too. Glad I didn't get it. Man hope everything goes alright for you.

I've used it in ATV tires, it works. I feel for you man, but you can't really blame the product for what happened to you. When you put the tube in the slimed tire the stuff had nohwere else to go but out the hole. If it had cured it wouldn't have happened, sounds like the stuff was still liquid.

In mesquite country that stuff, by whatever name, is priceless.

The tire 'foam fill' business is good down here for lawn tractor and riding mower tires too. Those mesquite thorns can be a real pain.

Hope your eyes heal up Throbbin Rods.

Ya, I personally like the yellow goopy junk with the bits of rubber in it. It stays goopy forever and seals any new thorn holes you get very well.

Here I thought you were referring to the slime build up on ramps. I almost got soaking wet the other day. I was out scouting camping areas down on the Ohio river. I decided to check their ramp length with a stick. I started walking out into the water and slipped. I caught myself before taking a bath though. I couldn't believe how slick that ramp was with a covering of slimy muck.
