Sparkplugs ,waterpump kit,thermostats,lower unit oil change and new fill/drain washers,adjust link/synch,insure your engine is propped to turn in the upoper limits of its Wide Open Throttle operating range.Also check and replace any worn fuel hoses and fittings and insure the vro oil reservoir is devoid of water and its piuckup tube is clean and clear.Make sure you folow the oil priming procedure any time the reservoir is serviced and mix fuel at 50:1 until you can verify usage from reservoir.Mark a line at the oil level with a permenant marker and run premix until you are satisfied that the oil level has dropped.<br /><br />To decarb ,I usually use the schrader fitting on the primer solenoid with OMC engine tuner.Then follow with a good 1 hour or more run to clear any loosened deposits.After this is the best time to replace/clean and regap the sparkplugs.
