i picked up a motor on ebay last week and got it fired up to and the water seems not to be pumping the greatest..i found this youtube clip and it pumps about the same is this right..new impeller is on the way anyways but i ran the motor and it gets hooter than my two stroke...

My Honda 8HP (BF8A) has a stronger, more steady stream than that video. It is pretty much a steady, solid stream even at idle. If the new impeller doesn't fix it, I'd try to hook up some kind of adapter to your hose and attach it to the water tube with the LU off, and see if water streams well (not running the engine, of course).

took the old impeller out and all the ribs were split..$15.00 and 10 minuets of my time and she pee's like she drank a case of beer
