Got a 2006 Bf90a honda outboard. Trim motor is acting up so I wanna pull it and check it out. looks like it could be hard to get to!! Anyone ever pulled one or can anyone tell me how to pull it. I can get to 2 of the 4 bolts easily but 2 of the bolts are right againts the motor mounting bracket. So I'm wondering to I have to pull motor?(sure hope not) Or maybe I can just pull one bracket?? I've never worked on one so I'm just not sure how to go about it.
Also looking for a place to find a replacement motor without going through local dealer. They will DOUBLE charge me!
