You have an exhust leak. Check the exhust pipe that is attached to the bottom of the cyl. head. It has a hole in it and let's exhust escape into the motor pan. If you run it and look below the cyl. head, you should see the tell-tale signs of exhust leakage with a flashlite. . Be careful as the three bolts that secure the exhust tube to the head are a bi#*h to get out!!! Also check the seal that goes around the tube. It can be ripp'd and also let the exhust in. Those screws are also a drag to remove if they're stubborn!!
