I am looking for a new prop for my 1960 J/E 40 horse. I can get a new small ear style for $80. I can get a NOS big ear style for $40. whats the difference in the ear size. same dia and pitch, no cup to either. <br /><br /> its for a 14' shallow V=hull. ski-med load. how does it effect holeshot and WOT?<br /><br /><br />would it be beter to get the big ones and cut my own?<br /><br />this whole engine in the boat thing is kinda new to me
