A few years back I was checking CAT 5 and fiber cables to some computer systems under raised tile floor - when they installed it they ran power cable(non locking) OVER tiled floor out in open, sure enough when I was crawling around down there I accidentally kicked power cable out that powered the hard drives.....OOPS...glad it was not a production system, $250 to get techs to reset drives - real crappy, old EMC drives. Told them to install power cable UNDER tile. Oh well, **** happens. <br />Heinz

I did a fiber run for Bosch( South Bend ),and went to put on the connectors. Have you ever tried to cleave fiber with a pretty gal next to you. Busted every one em'

These drives are external , antiquated(10 yrs old)EMC/crappy drives, on OLD AS/400 - software don't do squat. Can't wait to dump em! Ya ever try to install /fix data jacks under pretty womens desks WHILE they were sitting there??? I used to get so much funny/flirty **** for that - they COULD have moved! LOL Heinz

I've pulled alot of tiles looking for tapes, in my old tape ops days, cold 2. VTS/ATL the only way to go!

At least you didn't accidently stir up some dust under the floor and trigger the halon to dump, like someone at a very large financial firm I used to work for did. After that we couldn't even lift the tiles while the stock market was open, and without what was the equivalent of an act of congress to do it.
