Is it safe to lift and suspend my '69 40HP by the lifting ring on the powerhead? Is this what it's meant for, or is there some other purpose for it during manufacturing?
Hook on to it and lift away without a worry. That's what it's there for. Heck, it'll pick up the boat too if you forget to unclamp the motor. Kyuk, kyuk.
