Givin' us a lotta license here!?!?

9.5# Largemouth bass
76# Atlantic Sailfish
58# Strawberry Grouper
48# Amberjack
42# Dolphin
38# Wahoo
36# Kingfish
30# Blackfin tuna
26# Bonita
24# Snook
13' Mako shark - Cut the leader & hit the throttle! Didn't wait around to weigh it. Got 2 full-body jumps out of it about 75' off the back of the boat, though. Still makes my heart race! Those monsters have been known to attack boats.

All but the Largemouth and Snook were on 30# tackle. The others, except for the Grouper and Amberjack, were caught while trolling.

Re: Biggest fish?

Gotta love them makos! My largest fish is about a 12 foot mako! Another day in early mornig just at sun up had a hell of a slick going and lots of sharks around the boat (mostly blues) then hooked a mako he broke water 300 feet back of the boat and came 15 feet out of the water and next thing I know I had the menhadden slide up the line and a blue shark chomped it, fish gone. I'm standing at the stern reeling in my cut line and the mako comes over the side and whacks into the outboard, missed me by a foot, I know he was aiming for me.

Other Large:
Striper 48 pounds
Bluefish 20 pounds
Squeteage 12 pounds
Blackfish 12 pounds
Scup....many 3 pounds+

Largemouth 5lbs. 10oz.
Pike guess about 15 pounds
pickeral 4lbs 8oz
Carp....dont know weight but had to break 20lbs. hear some people around here getting them in the 30+ range.

Notable mention, my buddies 64 lb. striper off Point Judith.

Re: Biggest fish?

Dunno, honestly, I don't pay that much attention. I know, I know, kind of strange. I haven't had anything really worth making a big deal over in quite some time.

Some of the more interesting catches, though:
I caught a inch and a half long minnow on a number 2 panther marten while fishing for smallmouth and walleye. That was funny :)

A buddy of mine caught a swallow while we were fishing under a bridge. Same guy caught a mudpuppy while fishing on the mississippi. For anyone who hasn't seen one of those things, they look like a big, dirty, brown salamander. Thing felt like a log pulling it in, imagine his surprise!
