Alrighty...this isn't my boat (it's my dad's) so I won't be able to answer any really specific questions regarding it. Here's what my dad asked me, and I'm hoping some help from you guys will help us both out...

"Can you google the location of a "bilge" pump fuse on a 1996 21.5' Bayliner Capri?? I know it's located in a fuse box of 10 but I don't know the exact location or power size...5 or 10 or 15 amp..."

So, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

if you can find it on the web or in the manual, then with the key on (if needed to run the pump) and the switch off. take a test light and check all fuses, note the ones that dont light up the test light. then turn on the bildge switch and recheck the ones that didnt light. the new one is the bildge circuit. Make sure to check both side of the fuses.

Bilge pumps should never be wired through a closed circuit - always hard wired directly to the pump. This gives the pump a constant flow of juice to operate the float when you're not there. The pump switch should be a two position unit - AUTO or MANUAL. Never a reason to have an OFF position.
Your fuse rating will be related to your specific pump. All are color coded. You'll just need to find the brand you have and get the info from it. :D
