Hi,
I have a larson 180 sei, year 2001. It has a 3.0 litre volvo penta engine in it.
The boat sank in salt water and after draining it out the bilge pump now comes on when the auotmatic float it at the bottom (empty) and switches off when the float rises (water in engine bay). The pum[p can still be turned on and off with the switch on the dash. Anyone any ideas? Does anyone know what type of pump it is and where I can get one?
Thanks,
Shane.

Re: Bilge pump

Just buy a new float switch and install it. They are not expensive, and it's only two wires you have to splice.

Sinking sucks, eh ?

Your boat is still upside down. Flip it over and you will be OK.
