i install a new bilge pump and it dosent push the water thru the hose

Is it wired properly?
Switch on or is it an auto pump?
Is there water to pump out?

i have just a on and off switch
i even ran a new hose

yes i hear motor running, it dose discharge the water from the unit but not thru the hose

no blockage it seem that it not enough froce to push the water thru the hose
