Bimini Bound July 4th

We are planning a trip to Bimini for the 4th and will leave from Ft Lauderdale. Is anyone else going that weekend? We have never been and are very excited and a little nervous. Well, I'm nervous. My husband is sure he can handle all problems that arise. I've researched this trip and know what could happen. We have a 26ft SeaRay and live in the Tampa area so we will be trailering the boat. Any suggestions????

Hope you made reservations.As you well know the 4th is a busy boating day.Bimini lost one of its largest (Angler)hotels to fire a few yrs ago.Your boat is well capable as long as the weather is OK.You will likel see alot of traffic going and coming.Good luck,have fun.

I didn't think to make reservations. Thanks for the information. I guess that will be our deciding factor if we can get a slip or not.
