Bimini Size?

I have a Four Winns 180 Freedom and am looking to get a Bimini for it. I bought one for last boat (Freedom 150, which I am trying to sell) here at iboats 2 years ago.

I am looking for people who have an 18 or possibly 19 ft boat who have pictures of their Bimini. I don't know if I should go with the 4', 5' or 6' length, and am not real sure if I want to mount it on the side windows again like the last one of run it down to the gunwale.

If any one has any examples of their bimini's, I would love to see them....

hey mike i just bought the same boat.. anything i should look for in the way of possible problems... it is a omc cobra 4.3... dont know much about it..

do you have any specs or info you could share...

I have an 8' - 4 bow Bimini on my 20' Chaparral. I was a little concerned that it might be too big when I ordered it. I am SO glad every time I go to the lake that it is the size that it is - thanks to the strong GA sun in 90+ degree temps. Mine covers from about the windshield to the sunpad. It is the best thing I ever did for my boat. I only run without it 2 or 3 times a year. The rest of the time it is up whenever the boat is wet! Bigger is better when it comes to a Bimini.

I wish mine was big enough to mount outside of the mooring cover. would save taking it off all the time.

I had that problem too. Why not take your cover to a canvas shop and get it modified. $63 later I no longer have to disassemble the bimini when the mooring cover goes on.

Don't know of anything yet. I have only had it for 2 weeks, and Sunday is my maiden voyage! Have had to get plates and registration, rewire trailer lights, new winch, etc.

No, it is the 3.0L
