Bimini tops

I have a '70 starcraft v180. How does the bimini top go on. The snaps say Taylor Made. all help excepted thank you in advance

You should have at least two mounting points, one on each side of the boat where the ears on the end of the canopy poles will be attached with a pin or a screw.
with the bimini still wrapped attach the poles to the mounts and deploy the top.
Make sure the top is facing the correct way. Now the straps should clip on to something to tighten uo the top both front and back, or you may have other poles to connect to keep the top up. Hope this helps.

3 attachment points on each side.
pole mounts in the center, one strap goes forward, one strap goes aft.

what snaps? or is this a convertible top and NOT a bimini?

What is the difference? Mine snaps to the windshield then stretches back over a single hoop and snaps on to the gunwhale. It also has three sections zip and snap onto it. Here is a pic whith all pieces in place. DCFC0018.jpg
