Hmmmm! Did I miss something. Hate to see any of my cousins go away in a huff. The world is to too mean a place for us to not get along, even in spite of a few little differences. <br /><br />Like Aldo says, trog, hang in there. If someone ruffled your feathers, let it be like water off the back of a duck. Just come back swingin with a 2 x 4 (or whatever you call it in metric)

Well, Trog. We'd prefer that you stick around.<br /><br />You seem like a pretty bright bloke who only needs a little time to learn our local style. You clearly have a good command of our common ( ) language and have a lot to offer here.<br /><br />Many of our old timers (yours truly included) got off to a sort of rocky start here, but hung in to make this the best boating forum on the planet.<br /><br />We hope you will do the same.

Trog, you will find a diversity of ideas and opinions on this forum.... all have their merit... some are obviously erroneous, and some are exceptional... all are valued..... if you can't stand the heat, then stay out of the pan.. .... loose the thin skin and hang in there, it will be a good thing in the long run..........flash

well guys i will try and put this as tactfully and as polite as possible.. but it isnt because of the local denizens that populate this place that i feel its timed to go..<br /><br />let me say this.. i spend a lot of time (too much.. he he) both reading and posting to forums.. mostly reading.. thow over the past five years i have probably made over 15000 posts to various forums.. boats.. cars.. planes.. photography.. games.. i have been been flamed by the best and love a good arguement.. he he.. so that isnt a problem.. type trog100 into google and u will find me all over the place..<br /><br />i have run forums and been part of the management.. the management set the tone and they have every right to do so..<br /><br />a few years back i created an airplane gaming forum that became very popular.. i called it a community.. i was so successfull that the guys that used it really thought it was real.. in fact it became real.. just like in real life politics kinda sneaked in.. squabbles became wars and wars turned into battles.. basically i lost control of the entire thing.. he he<br /><br />this taught me a lot both about life and about forums.. <br /><br />one of my rules now is never upset the management.. they might like u and ask u to play a bigger part.. they might dislike u and it soon shows.. <br /><br />its showing and that is why its time for me to go..<br /><br />this is a boating only forum.. it a good one.. its fairly tightly run and i am probably too controversial for it.. the management are beginning to make this known.. he he<br /><br />no problems.. some places u fit and some places u dont..<br /><br />happy boating and dont get your feet any wetter than u have too.. he he <br /><br />trog100
