Re: Bin Laden

Great to see him gone....he was a stain on humanity.
Now...with him gone, what's the next move?
BP:)
note: good to hear that there was a minimum loss of life all around in this take out.:)

I hope they had an old torpedo laying around to strap him to, that would be nice.I hear he must have had some help from some of our "friends" over there,so who's next!!Thanks to all our military men and women everywhere in the world, and our REAL allies.

Re: Bin Laden

This is indeed a great day for all humanity, specifically us Americans and all those who lost someone in the multitude of attacks this rag-headed waste of air put together or planned, and more specifically the US Military and the civilians and families that support them in any capacity. May he rot in hell for the damage he has done to each and every one of us. Unfortunately, this ain't over. It has been strangely quiet here today, but the emails are flying, from those in the know, that we should "remain ever vigilant". Tense is a good word for the general feeling right now. Everyone is kinda' waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Be sure to take the time today to thank a Vet. But don't stop there...thank the civilians that directly support them, and the families that love them. Without them, the Military would not be as good as it is. If you know a SEAL, drop to your knees and kiss his ring. ;) And yes, kailec...God Bless all those small elite teams, that operate behind enemy lines, stopping wars before they even start. :D

God Bless the heroic Navy Seals and all of the women and men that serve (or have served) and have participated in the search to bring that piece of s@@@ the justice he deserves. While I give some credit to the current President for keeping the search going, I only wish it was George W who was able to have made the announcement. To all those who would do us harm, it may take 10 years but we will find you and bring you to justice. To Infidel Target (and all those deployed)......keep your head down and thanks for your brave service.

This is the first time in my life I can recall being joyful over somebody's death. Way to go, my brothers!

Re: Bin Laden

One more here to thank all involved in whatever role they played. Sorry to hear that there will be more stress and increased duty for our servicemen for the next few days but hopefully this will be over soon.

Hope the burial at sea didn't interrupt normal ships activities like pumping sanitaries while dumping his carcass overboard!

Hehe...:D Gosh...that MUST be it! The last four years have all just been a bad dream! YEAH! I'm Home! Not.

Does this dream include sand everywhere, guns, Hum-Vee's, tanks, random explosions, and lotsa funny dressed guys with bad attitudes who speak in a foreign dialect?

I've personally known people who've had that dream for up-wards of 2-4 years (like you).

"Tennessee" is a rough place to be... :D;)

This morning my daughter was singing to the tune of the "Wicked Witch" song from Wizard of Oz...

Ding-dong, Osama's dead
Took a bullet to the head
Ding-dong, the terrorist is dead...

Re: Bin Laden

Why, you are a private contractor aren't you? Nothing there to be worried about.

Like I said...you have a question? PM ME. I sent you one, you have issues? That is what PMs are for. I have had no problem telling people what I do in PMs when asked. You know what? Screw it. Nothing to worry about? Really? I will be sure to send that message on my nice Embassy letterhead to the families of those that died a few days ago in the car bombings. Guess what? Half of them were private contractors. Does their death or service mean any less? Nothing to worry about? I will tell that to the families of the guys that got their chopper shot down while doing recon yesterday. They were private contrators too. Didnt hear about that one did you? Hmmm. You got issues with me or what I do? You got issues with the way I serve my country? You got issues with me personally? I suggest you get over them! I gurantee you that in the last four years here as a civilian, I have seen and done more than half of the enlisted guys that rotate through here. Make no mistake, buddy, there are more private contractor civilians than Military in ANY war zone these days. We do the same jobs they do, just for more pay, and obviously less recognition. For every one of us that decides to leave our families and lives at home, and serve the best way we can, it allows three...that's right THREE...active Military personnel to NOT have to be here! So if you have an issue with me, or the way I am able to serve my beloved country...you can kiss my azz!

Mods...feel free to delete this if its over the line. I have simply had it with people who poo-poo civilians in war zones.
