We call them "Hosers" but the technical term is 1) "Albertans"....unless you are from Alberta and then they are called "neighbours"........or....
2) "Maritimers"..from the Maritimes .."neighbours"
3) "Valley Lads"..From the Valley (Ottawa).."neighbours"
4) "Baymen"...from around the Bay (Nfld.) ..."neighbours etc. etc.
There are a ton more regional variations but as someone said earlier the common theme is flannel, denim, toques, beer, and hockey.
