Re: Bitter Sweet Short Season?s End

I'm holding out to the bitter end this year.

Thanks for resurrecting your great post moosehead. Just took the older kids back to college a few weeks ago, but I will keep taking the wife and my 12 year old son out until the water is too cold -- won't be long. Then just fishing I guess.

All this talk about snowmobiles is getting me a little jealous...but no snow around here.

What'dya talkin about, we boat year round, offroad year round (well, maybe not summer), ski and snowboard during the winter..
Here in SoCal, we can be skiing one weekend, and boating the next! er.. sorry, was I bragging a little? My mistake. :D

Snowmobiles are a ton of fun, but they take a backseat to riding in an 800hp+ long travel sandrail in the dunes, pulling wheelies up 1000' high dune mountains, all the way from the bottom to the top..

85% of the slips still full despite high 20F nightime temps, 57 degree water temp.

The Trout, Walleye, and Crappie should be biting good in that 57* water.

Great posts and beautiful pics, I love CO. Our season is done as well, starting to think about winterizing. Summer, hurry back.
