Black max 225? What year any one know?

Does anyone know were to find info or specs on a mercury black max 225? It's definitely 80s

i can't find anything on this serial number 5976907 its on both the power-head and cover?

Just wondering if it is really a 225 hp or what

If its a true 225hp it will be: (1) a 2.4 liter engine (2) Non finger ported block (3) Have a 14 pedal intake (4)Will have either WH 15 or 20 series carbs. The engine is not HP prop rated and puts out about 200hp at prop.
