Black Max Water Pump

Got a problem with 150 Black Max. Its an older motor (I would imagine mid 1990's). The taddle tail doesn't have a constant stream of water. When it squirts, it squirts with full force but it is not consistent. there seems to be no blockage. Does the impeller maybe need to be replaced?

Black Max 150hp (mid 1990's):<br /><br />The alarm comes on from time to time and the low oil/overheat light comes on. It can't be the overheat b/c it will buzz right after the first start in the morning. Oil reservoirs are full. What would be the most common cause?
