Black spray on electrical connections

What is the black coating on all of the electrical connections on my boat? I want to buy a can or two for when I rewire my lights. I can't seem to figure out what it's called, but there is NO corrosion where it has been used.<br /><br />thanks!<br /><br />Kevin

Probably just liquid electrical tape. <br /><br />

Can be bought at NAPA, at least at the one here. Not sure if it is the same brand name though...is the same stuff.

It's half the price at wal-mart ($4.00) as it is in a marine store. Different name, same stuff.
