hi guys new hear just bought my first boat and turns out it had a broke ring so im rebuilding the one thing i cant figure out is what are the small hoses on the side of my block from each piston to the reed plate that holds the carbs. Only 3 of them was connected on my boat can anyone tell me what they do and how they sud b connected?

those are the bleed lines. In the manual you can find a diagram of where they connect.
I do not know everything about them but I am certian if you do a search here you will find good information about them.

These hoses re distribute unburnt fuel.The V6 usually has a 5 and a 6 hose system.

I understand that idea. So if there is too much fuel left in the cylinder it flows back to the reed block or is it the other way around?

can they cause problems if not routed right or pinched?
