Re: Blazer A/C now.

I finish up taking the whole thing apart today. I did an inspection and see no reason why not resealing this unit. The unit is really clean inside, I found no signs of corrosion anywhere. I ended up getting the kit with the shaft seal so it is bout $25.00 to my door by Friday. I am planning to flush the system. I know I dont flush the accumulator/dryer but do I need to remove that orifice tube again? Using the compressor as a reference do I flush via the suction or high pressure line? I had a guide somewhere that told me how much oil to put in each component but I cant find it. I think it was 3 oz in the compressor, 1 in the accumulator and 1 in the condenser but that was more of a guide of what to add when replacing each individual component. should I put all the oil in the suction intake of the compressor? How much? Seems I will be using PAG. I cant recall any other question right now. I did put the plugs back in the accumulator to seal it and vacuum it to keep it safe from the humidity.
Thanks guys!

PS - This compressor was leaking from the rear part. When I took it all apart there was no rear steel gasket in it!!!!! I thought I was going crazy... The new kit does have this seal.

Anyone has a diagram of there the gaskets go in this compressor? The rear plate did not have a gasket on my compressor so I dont know where the new gasket go. I would guess it goes between the rear plate and the casing but you never know. Thanks!
