Well I came up with this. I am getting ready to install it. It is a 5/16" T connector with the schrader valve that I got from B**ts.net. I need to get another piece of fuel line but I cannot see why it will not work.
I would use a quality worm clamp on these fittings. IAW the parts manual the line the fitting is connected to is a return line. I would check this for blockage.

There were no clamps on these connections. Just the barbed connections. I believe I will put clamps on these just for insurance. I don't know what you mean by IAW but this is a supply line.
