bleeding hydrolics system and powerstering

i removed the hydrolic's from my 23 ft wellcraft to do a transom repair.whats the procedure to bleed the system hydrolics and the powerstering?

So, what are we talking about? OMC, Mercruiser, Volvo, year, model number. <br />All 23'Wellcrafts are not the same.

fill the pumps with fluid and fire the motor so p/s pump is working, work steering wheel slowly left to right a few times. For trim run the drive up and down a few times also.

NE, some recommend on the power steering to run it back and forth a few times before starting the engine. Keeps them from shaking and not bleeding out properly.

Thanks for the reply, could i use the power steering flued in the trim hydrolics? And does the flued lid's remain OFF until the prosedure is done
