Blower question

When reassembling the engine room after a floor repair I came to a problem.Should the blower be installed so that it sucks and blows away air from the bilge or just the opposite?And is there a chance the blower sucks some water from the bilge if the end of the hose is too low inthe bilge aria?Thanks!

The blower sucks air out of the bilge and blows it out of the boat. The hoses should be routed as low as possible in the bilge because that is where gas fumes accumulate.
