Blown engine

I see what open/closed is. Does the closed not cool as well as the open. I have new impeller & keep a new one around. Not sure what caused the failure probably worn well past spec.

Closed deck does have cooling issues and need the cooling mod ...but they wear very little as outside of sleeve is supported.
