First of all, I had to change my login name to even get on the forum. Second, the search is disabled so I have to ask this question. (Now that I've got my gripes out . . . ) I've got a Ford 203/888 Merc with an over-heating problem. It's raw water cooled, no power steering, working impeller. I've had the risers off, mans opened & cleaned, all hoses off, new thermostat. My mechanic says he might suspect a bad head gasket and it needs a cylinder pressure test. He said that this would cause poor water circulation. Does this sound logical?
