blown head gasket???

Hello and thanks for the help

Will a blown head gasket allow an engine to run fine while not under way? My engine runs great at the dock at idle and when given gas. Under way it is running like crap.

I know I have many things to check but specifically I was wondering about the head gasket

that does not sound like a head gasket, but you never know, has the boat ever ran good when you owned it? and if so, what lead up to it running like ****? is the fuel old?? when was the last time it had a tune up?? need more info, is there water in the oil?? (milky dipstick)

Nope,........ That's Not a typical symptom of a Headgasket......

It IS a symptom of a Lean Condition though........

You have a Fuel Restriction Somewhere...........
