I have a mud boat (inboard shallow draft boat) powered by a small block chevy 350. We flooded the engine while getting the timing straightened out after changing intake manifold gasket. When she fired after distributor was lined up, the engine blew (flames shot out of the throttle body injection, and the compression blew off the valve cover). Valve cover has been replaced and no signs of oil leaks yet. <br /><br />What other stuff should I be looking out for as far as externalities are concerned?
