Came across a '72 Merc 7.5hp outboard in good running condition and no apparent damage. Guy wants $400 for it. What would someone expect to pay for a motor of this type and condition?
there is no bluebook value on that engine, it's what the market will bear. if the engine has good compression, and runs, is clean. look around and see what else is available. in the price range. then make yur decision.
