Blue Guitar

Anyone here know anything about a boat named Blue Guitar? I live in CT and I was on the water yestarday (8-27) at Essex, and there was this beautiful boat. I went to the bar down the road after docking the boat, rumor has it it's Claptons. Anyone one know for sure?

Probably not Clapton's. Look here:

Of course, if it's not a US-based documented vessel, that would be a different story.

But Blue Guitar brings up just one documented vessel, and that's not Clapton's.

You can look up documented vessels here. Blue Guitar shows up, but not with Clapton as the owner.

One rumor has it that it belongs to someone from the Smithsonian Institute, who is friends with Clapton. The other is that it is Claptons yacht, or at least it used to be. Both of these come from people that have asked the crew. Two times, the same question, two different answers.

It is also said that either he has a new one, the Va Bene, or it belongs to , or used to belong to Bernie Ecclestone.

Oh yea I forgot, see that Yacht fender on the side of the Va Bene.

Thanks for all your feedback. The boat on the back says London, so i'm almost sure its not a U.S. vessel. It also flies a British flag. I went to google and it directed me to som web site. There are actually people following this boat around and saying where it has been. They really seem to think it's his. I don't think I or we will ever know! It also mentions the Va Bene, that looks like a pretty one! Well thanks again!
