Hey guys,

I am working on my project boat, and I am at the point that I am about to update the dash. I am planning on installing all new gauges, electronics, etc. I am noticing that all of the switches and fuses are looking a bit crappy. I was looking at the Blue Sea 4316, does anyone have experience with these.

The boat has 8 dedicated circuits, and 4 acc. circuits. 2 of the 4 acc. circuits I have plans for in the near future. I was planning on running 2 of the 6 circuit panels.

Any feed back on these units? I was looking at them at the local boat store and they seem to be fairly good quality, the sales man had nothing but good to say about them. Im guessing that he would, figuring that he sells them.

Thanks
Tom

I don't have any experience with that particular unit, but I have a lot of experience with Blue Sea electrical parts and highly recommend them. Top of the line parts, at a reasonable price.

I've been eyeballing that particular unit myself. Let us know if you get it and how it works out.

Re: Blue sea fuse/switch panel

I will probably will be ordering two of 8 circuit panels in the next few weeks.

i just finished making two new dash side wiring harnesses. The two harnesses will run one from each of the switch panels, down to the a set of plugs at the base of the dash. From that point, the wiring runs out to each of the devices. I am in the process of updating the complete dash board.(gauges, electronics, switches, etc) The dash area has a wiring harness that simply unplugs from the boat. I figured if I would just make a complete new dash harness from scratch. That way I dont have to worry about any issues later.

Once I order these switch panels, I will post my findings
