Glad to see one of our x commander in chief enjoys the water. Looks like it would take a long time to get to the lake with that mode of transportation. Have fun hope everything works out ok. :D :D :D :D

yeah man,
my dad made that tractor 45 years ago. it was the thing back then. I restored it back to the way it was.it has a 39 ford rear end and a 3 speed studebaker transmission, steering from a 57 ford. I use it to plow with and scrape snow from drive way. it runs about 35 in 3rd gear. .I can jump a long neck coors light bottle on take off :D

Those are nice, stable boats. A bit bouncy in the chop, but they make up for it in other ways.
It sure looks ready to go

I have restoration envy. That tractor looks good. The boat is great. My dad had a similar boat when I was a kid, it was a blast! Just don't run it over a sandbar.

jasonj
thats a 76 1150. the boat will be a little over powered which is rated for a 85 hp but it beats that old 50 hp force I used to have on it. I give 300 dollars for that motor and I was told it was in tip top shape[ I guess they see me comming] but after another 2700 dollars now its in tip top shape. cost another power head, distributor, new wires, new coil, switch box, retifier, carbs rebuilt, new hoses for t/trim,new paint, new decals, I fell over when he said 101 dollars for a dist. cap. I put a new water pressure gauge and new tach and finally new control cables. cost a lot but I like the old in line six cyl motors.
