Need some advice on buying a boat. Right now I'm looking at three boats
1. 1996 Mariah 220 Talari 403 hrs 454 MPI w/ bravo III $9900
2. 1999 Chris Craft 210 hrs UNK 350 GS SX $12900
3. 2001 Wellcraft Excalibur 250 hrs 454 GI Duoprop $17900
I know the prices vary greatly, but I'm trying to keep my options open. I want a good open bow that can run into the 50's. I'm more concerned with build quality. I think the chris craft and excalibur are both no wood construction. I think the mariahs are built pretty good, but I've never known anyone that has one to confirm.
I haven't looked at any, and I haven't discussed price. I know I don't like people negotiating price until after they have looked at what I have, so I try and return the favor.
What do y'all think? Assuming all are in the same shape aesthetically, mechanically, and construction? I'm leaning towards the Mariah because of the price, the motor, and they look pretty good.
