Im looking at Walk around cuddy between 21 and 24 foot. Have been coming back over and over to proline, since there seem to be plenty to be had.
Options are buying old boat with old motor for 5K (my max limit), or old boat and trailer with no engine for about 12-1500
, then buying remanufactured engine and installing myself. Oh yeah, the boat is in peices by a guy who began a refurb and lost interest, he swears its all there.
Of course I wont buy a boat with bad deck, stringers or transom.
Also I have full access to shop with all tools and resources to work on boats.
Is it a no brainer to buy the no power boat trailer combo for about 1200 and then get an engine for 2-3 K and be way ahead over the old boat engine combo. What else should I consider here.
